Single Insulator Cap & Flexible Line Cover
This version of the patented insulator cap is attached with silicone line hose for applications such as covering jumpers on double dead-ends, or cross-pins on buck-arm corners. This unit is shipped assembled and ready in the field.
Specifications:
-Extended service life made of UV resistant RPVC and vulcanized silicone line hose.
-Covers only the energized portion of insulators, allowing the insulator skirts to naturally clean as they are designed to do, and for the insulator to be easily viewed during line inspection.
-Fits conductor sizes #8 through 795 cm
-Top-Tie (tangent) single insulator
-80″ of coverage (>60″ recommended)
-Easily installable by one lineman
-Rated at 28 kV insulation per phase and good for all 35 kV systems
