Locata® Underground warning mesh

The warning net is a bright, coloured polypropylene mesh which may incorporate a printed warning message. Different colours of warning mesh are available to warn of the presence of buried service lines e.g. water pipelines, sewers, gas pipes, telecommunications and fibre optic cables or electricity cables

Plastic underground warning mesh is normally installed a specified distance directly above the utility to be marked so that future excavators will be aware of the cable or pipeline further below.

Locata warning meshes offer a distinctive visual warning to excavators. They are not intended to offer any protection or resistance to further excavation. Warning meshes may also be used in combination with Stokbord® cable protection tiles or Tapetile® cable protection tape or, other underground warning tapes
