LineStar 20″ Fiberglass Spike Perching deterrent for birds

LineStar and Power Line Sentry worked with one of our Alberta Transmission companies to come up with a 20″ Fiberglass Spike Perching deterrent for birds.

This device was designed to be put on to the wishbone structure with a hotstick from a helicopter.

On the bottom of the perch deterrent, we incorporated six magnets, for ease of installation onto the metal arms, as well as a safe and reliable installation procedure for the lineman.
