The Cotter Key Tool is a companion tool to Part No. C403-0005, both designed for ball and socket type insulator couplings. C403-0005 enters the socket opening to force the cotter key out while C403-0006, shown here, forces the key back into position. Effectiveness of both tools is enhanced with the use of the Universal Knocker.
