This Portable Loadbreak Tool is the original, light-weight, easy-to-use loadbreak tool for use with disconnects, cutouts, and power fuses. It brings load switching capability through 34.5 kV and 600 amperes nominal, 900 amperes maximum to a wide variety of devices on your distribution system. Loadbuster switching helps keep service interruptions to a minimum. There is no need for complex switching procedures involving opening and re-closing of line and feeder breakers to permit dead switching. Every disconnect, cutout, and power fuse becomes a sectionalizing point. Live switching can be done at the point that minimizes the length of the planned outage and affects the fewest consumers.
