SAFETYSHIELD™ Hot Stick Barrier for Standard Sticks

In less than a minute, the patented* SAFETYSHIELD™ Hot Stick Barrier can be mounted on a 1-1/4″ or 11/2″- diameter live line tool. That’s all it takes to add up to a 24″-diameter protective screen between a lineman and a potential electrical hazard. Used by major electric utilities, co-operatives, contractors and industrial customers in the U.S. and abroad, it fits on clampsticks, hooksticks, and elbow-puller tools. SAFETYSHIELD™ Hot Stick Barrier should be mounted on the hot stick nearest the point where an electrical arc flashback may occur. It is made of two flame-retardant transparent polycarbonate protective shields affixed with a nylon fastener to a nylon 33% glass-filled clamp.
