Microjet
The Sherman + Reilly Microjet® equipment is a natural extension of the Cablejet® and Superjet® method for installing cables in ducts. All standard components, cables, ducts, sub-ducts, and installations are “downsized” to allow for more network flexibility and versatility.
Using the Microjet® allows for multiple microducts to be jetted in one installation, making Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and Fiber-to-the-Business (FTTB) easily deployed. Microjet® is an economic alternative to traditional OSP and offers increased flexibility, upgradability in the network build.
Microjet® PR-196
The PR-1960 model allows for jetting of fiber optic micro cables and other conventional micro cables. It is ideal for FTTH, FTTB, city rings, and long haul applications. It may also be used with a shuttle for extremely small micro cables.
Microjet® PRM-196
The PRM-196 model features a pneumatic drive wheel system. It utilizes high-speed air to assist
in pushing MicroCables up to 8mm in diameter distances up to 5,000 ft. into MicroDucts up to
12.7mm O.D. and 10mm I.D. The PRM-196 is ideal for FTTH, FTTB, inside plant applications,
including multiple dwelling units.
